History
In the fall of 1981, eight Abilene quilters attended the Quilt Festival in Houston, TX They returned to Abilene with much enthusiasm and excitement about quilting. After mcuh discussion, the Abilene Quilters’ Guild was organized in September 1981 with 20 charter members.
