There are several different charity projects that we participate in as a Guild. All of the details can be found below.
CPS Bags
Drop off completed bags at the monthly meetings or give them to Denise Brunner or Suzanne Kirk.

Hospice Bed Runners
Size: 24″ x 72″
Drop off completed runners at the monthly meetings or give to Denise Brunner or Suzanne Kirk. You can also drop off a runner top to R Quilt Haven and Claranell Murray or Debbie Tucker will take it from there. We can quilt and get it bound. These do not have to be longarmed. You can do a simple quilting on your sewing machine.

Quilts of Valor (QOV) Quilts
Size: 60″ x 80″
These quilts are usually red, white, blue, and/or gold. National QOV Month is in February, but these can be made all year long.

Foster Graduation Quilts
Size: Minimum of 50″x70″
Due in April of each year.

Quilts for Cops
Size: about 60″x80″
The colors are usually browns, earthy greens, blues, grays, blacks, and subdued reds. Stay away from making them femenine looking. No panel quilts, sports themes, bright colors, kids’ prints, or novelty themes. No patriotic prints so that they aren’t confused with QOV.

Dove Hunt Quilts
Size: about 60″x80″
The receipients are all veterans. The colors do not have to be all red, white, and blue, but have some patriotic colors included. They usually need 8-10 quilts.

West Texas Rehab Quilts
Size: up to you
Any quilt you would like to donate. The choice of size, color, and style are up to you!
Quilts are due at the luncheon at the start of November. Last minute donations can be made through the beginning of January.
Claranell Murray can answer your questions. She donates each year and attends the luncheon.
NOAH Quilts
Size: crib to twin size
You can drop off at R Quilt Haven or give to Claranell Murray or Debbie Tucer at the guild meetings. You can make a quilt top and thend rop off and we can make a back and we have batting available. We can then get someone to bind the quilt. You can include backing and binding if you want or you can turn in a completed quilt! The NOAH quilts do not have to be longarmed. You can quilt them on your sewing machine with just a simple stitch.
Quilts due in December.
